I think humility and ethics are vital to finding the truth.
You may call it small scale, but this is the experience we are having here in this world.
We are individuals.
Magic is just yet another way the ego tries to be special and above others. The concept of God can help with that:
One Creator, the rest of us creatures.
All unique, none as special as the ego likes to pretend in order to gain privileges, undeserved advantages, special treatment and rules.
We've been given everything and been set free inside of a miracle nobody can explain, trying to game reality to get more is a lack of gratefulness and humility.
We got so much on our plate just trying to be humans instead of mere animals, and yet, the ego wants to pretend we are gods...
