I think for me it depends.... I can absorb things better if reading a well written piece... some just stick with you.. similarly, someone with great presentation and passion can captivate you with their message.

Vlogs are generally mind-candy, but well-written articles are a grass-fed steak.
They're both tasty but one is doubtlessly better for you ;)
I prefer audio-only podcasts tbh. Automated content consumption without losing Theater of the Mind.
