Few things I've learned being an entrepreneur & working with devs:

1. Learn to code. Even if you dont plan to code for the business it will greatly aid communication & understanding process. It allows you to build empathy, respect, & a better relationship

2. A highly skilled developer with a bad attitude can poison and ruin a whole team. It's easier to teach technical ability than to teach someone to work well and be a leader. Consider this when hiring.

3. Involve the devs in the business side. Its easier to teach the devs biz skills (law, acc, finance, etc) than it is to teach the whole biz side how to develop. This will help them communicate with the biz side more effectively & keep all on the same page
