Thats where to start. Don't get hung up in this mindset and give up. Treechat is the best example that there is not only hope but excellent people who enjoy what they are doing. Everyone should get their chance. I believe in people because everyone has their bad habits.
You just named the best you know. So thats very powerful. The people who are not interested to join can stay where they are. Its just an offer to do more then a regular comunity and create something new. We have so many minds gathered here now. Lets use them for the benefit of our future.
