I never heard of this STEMS format they have on Udio. A little time back i bought some new gadgets, a djx-1000 pioneer controller and also the sampler. Then i found out i can also use the STEMS format on the gear and that's just fantastic! BTW let me know when, how or where i can buy your release so i can buy it.
Thx Ruth.

Oh brilliant! Kicking it old school! I haven’t messed with the stems myself yet, but probably should. Sometimes I have to take the songs out of Udio to remix them. Thanks @SMARTWATCH, I appreciate the support. As I have done with the others, it’ll likely be on YouTube, Spotify and Apple and Amazon Music — all the usual places. I publish with Distrokid. It’s pretty straightforward.

Example: if you got a song but you don't like the vocal, you download the vocal STEM and upload it again in the RMX modus, tune the vocal as you like and put it back again under your original track, Works great!

Nice! I have lowered the pitch of the whole song, but not tried that. Sounds advanced!

Yes it is amazing technology and a well thought concept udio uses.

Oh one more tip: Udio only allows a 25 mb upload so it's wise to cut your whole stem / wave file into 30 seconds files. Now ou can rmx each part as you wish. Have fun Ruth!
