I have tried Exodus on the PC.. Might be worth me trying the Android version too...

I'm interested in the things like paper wallet cold storage, 'sweeping', 'warm wallets' etc. that I've heard about - aware that some of these things can be over a decade old.. And in the era of BRC-100 some things may be becoming deprecated..

I like the sound of what I'm hearing about BRC-100, being independent of any one site or provider when it comes to ID & social media... Restoring to new platforms with seed phrases, etc..

I don't mind relying on an old Samsung in a drawer as cold storage when it comes to beer or holiday money... Buy a house money, not so much... 😉

Actual etching & storage of seed phrases etc. on stainless steel, I don't see as a problem... Just the confidence to know the characters etched will do the expected, should they ever be called upon.

I expect if I sat through every CSW interview & digested all his works & those of Babbage, etc., I'd know what to do. But -hey- ain't there someone who's already done all that & written a blog post? 😹"

To me this stuff is really important when it comes to onboarding. I'm not going to recommend BSV to anyone with anything more than my own level of confidence.

That said, they can still be good to go with Treechat until BSV hits the mööôn 🌙 ✨

Paper wallets are the best. Have you seen the bip38 password protected paper wallets?

It will take more time before world adoption. The teranode/scaling/p2p architectures [that will work] are really all just revealing themselves now. If someone wants to store some BSV to have it, I'd say go paper wallet and get someone technically adept to help you. Or, make sure you understand the importance of seed and derivation paths in a non-BRC-100 wallet. (again, a technical adept needs to help). I know you are are not asking for help in that way I'm speaking generally.

In my opinion: **BRC-100 wallets should not be used to store large amounts of BSV at this stage of the game**

If someone uses a Rock or other commercial wallet as their tech support "what happens if you go out of business?" and do not let them off the hook until you fully understand the answer.
