Thankfully I see many more nuanced responses on X this morning, aside from yesterday’s seemingly unbridled glee. It always makes me very uneasy to see people express joy at killing. It seems to me they just created a new generation of Hezbollah terrorists and emboldened those they didn’t outright kill. This is an escalation, not a solution. WWIII moves ever closer. Having lived through the IRA bombings of the 1970s through late 1990s, peace talks were always the way forward, recognising the fault on both sides and vowing to put an end to it, not high tech killings or maimings. The more death, the more hate, the more hate, the more terror; the cycle ramps up.
