I also cannot talk about Bitcoin to friends and family. They think it's a ponzi and drug money. I haven't been able to convince them to acquire any.

It was like that for me for a long time and still is at times... except I've been talking about Bitcoin for so long now that actively being a friend is pretty much dependent on it. My closest friends are now dealing with this themselves.
