Here's one from when i was sysadmin at a major carier.
user : " I get an error when i try to open a pdf file "
me : ok , let me see the error.
user opens excel, clicks 'open file' , selects pdf and error occurs.🙈

she discovered her own mistake after i stared at her for a while.
reminds me of the time my advisor was gonna call tech cause his internet was broke. I said is your cable unplugged. we looked under his desk and sure enough the cable was out
