trying to follow you on how locking would help rank ideas. sats would be locked to particular posts, and there would be access to a leaderboard with posts with the most amount currently locked.
the person who locks gets to decide on both how many sats they want to lock and for how long they want to lock it for, in support of a post.
in any case i think treechat was right to simplify upvalue to just tipping, rather than tipping/locking. locking is a more involved process. perhaps it can still be added as a separate feature for adepts.
