Take a "vacation" somewhere that you can focus on reflection and redirection of your own efforts. Give yourself the time to think and begin new habits, then when you return, focus on integrating what you've learned with your regular life and habits.

Great post man, this is something I've learned over the years as i began to travel much more. It's much needed to step out of your day to day, see a new perspective and culture. Take what you see and apply.

This same thought is pressing last couple weeks in mind. Need to take a break and re-evaluate targets.

I've just returned from such a trip. It was exceptionally helpful to me. Far more so than I expected.

Now the challenge is the incorporation. Already struggling with that, but I'll have the next few days to adjust more thoroughly and move forward again.

Where did you travel?

To see family. I won't say where :)

But it really was about seeing family. No sightseeing or anything. Just good quality time with them, and a lot of time thinking, and working on things I needed to work on but haven't had the bandwidth to get to.
