When you take every reason that BTC and LN proponents give for their smaller blocks scaling 'strategy', and remove any ponzi scheme derived reasons, you will see that they have no real strategy. They just NEED you to believe the price will go up. Or BUST.

Some ideology leaders like Luke seem to believe that there is a need for a token that is maintained by the entire humanity validating transactions. They think big miners are a threat more than value adders.
