Only got one other Swinhoe male... and 5 hens.
Hens lay at one year old but the male Swinhoe take two years to color up and be mature to breed.

That's unfortunate.
They look so pretty.

Something must have freaked him out to the point of flying into the roof, probably several times.
Breeding season is only about 8 weeks away 🤦
