Not sure if this is connected, but back in the late 80's Stanley Meyer invented a Water-Powered Fuel Cell, that cud use any type of water. The story goes, he was offered one million dollars for the Patent but wanted to give it to the public for free. One year later at a business meeting in a restaurant, he was poisoned.
