I support free speech , but I know if Twetch becomes a billion dollar company , free speech will end , because free speech is all the stuff “you” don’t agree with .. what will twetch do if terrorist groups start twetch posts to recruit? Pedophilia posts?

If that happens it will be very simple for law enforcement to follow the transactions and catch whoever is responsible.

illegal content is not covered by free speech in any country of the earth.
There is a fine line between voluntarily deleting / censoring content, like current platforms like twitter, FB do, and actually deleting only ILLEGAL stuff.

on the bitcoin blockchain metanet , how can illegal content be censored or taken down , it will be easy to view illegal content , but hard to remove , also easy to find and catch who posted, but then it’s there forever , isn’t this a problem ?

Twetch ·

Imagine just “one” person posts as much ILLEGAL content on metanet all in one day ! Yes u catch them, but now it’s all there forever as Super easy access for all! What will happen then? Can a whole blockchain be illegal to possess then only if they roll back?

Btw thanks for helping me to remember that illegal content and free speech do not have a ven diagram. I forgot they don’t overlap Except what about if there is a disagreement between countries on legality maybe? cannabis & alcohol advertising for example.

You can’t censor the blockchain itself, but you can censor on the platforms that allow people to access the blockchain. For example, Twetch can stop someone from posting if they post something distasteful. That person can pick another platform or stop.

Your answer appears to be begging the question. I am sure the Chinese government could claim that its citizens are free to post whatever they like so long as the content does not relate to any 'illegal' topic 😉

Twetch ·

Its not that simple.
Just because something is on the Blockchain, doesnt mean its available for everyone all the time.
There are ways to limit the access to certain data on a blockchain.
Just because its there doesnt mean its publicly available.

Twetch ·

I dont know how and why you come up with the Chinese government now.
"legal" and "illegal" are therms of law that differ in every country.
In the future, countries will limit access to data on the block chain just like they do today on the internet.

Is the twetch data on the blockchain encrypted... or can you see it in plain text .. or is it something else I maybe misunderstood how twetch works

On Twetch all your mistakes are there to see forever ... I’m not sure if most Twitter users will migrate because of that , people like to forget and pretend they didn’t make mistakes , this will be a reminder forever. I like Twetch and I hope I’m wrong.
