First principles led me to the Prime Mover and from there I would grab any math book or physics book I wanted for many years. I had 100s of technical books and went back to relearn calculus and linear algebra.

I studied many programming languages and wanted to also develop new languages. I was part of a small group of coders working on project XPlatypus once upon time.

Our goal was to develop a language in XML far simpler to develop applications with than XSLT.

🙇‍♂️😁 In the book The Dancing Wu Li Masters by Gary Zukov there is a chapter called I Clutch My Ideas. It is faith alone by which I move at all.

Part of the language was turning out to be a lot like Forth.

I pondered how things move. The difference between animate and inanimate matter. This led me through many sources.

The platypus represented the mix of concepts we were using from other languages.

.NET supported multiple paradigms with IL which killed our ambitions especially when Mono came out.

Not that I really cared too much I got what I wanted but it took so long.

We were on the way to become a w3.org standard but the project broke down due to one of the team members who was less technically interested and more interested in cashing in by selling stuff got in the way. Then IL came out and allowed for many languages

Language development was suppressed do to fear and lack of faith and greed. Control the language control the system.
