I have a story to share with you all, real life, actually happened story. Its taken me a couple of weeks to process 😆

About a month ago, I took a drive down the coast, alone, to clear my head. 3 times, in 3 different areas, a car swerved into my lane, head on, and at the last minute swerved back out. I was left with a feeling that I would have a car accident soon.
Twetch ·
That same evening, I accidentally (likely very distracted) backed into a parked car in the garage 🙊 Found the guy, settled cost of damage etc. Told my acupuncturist to hit some points that would help rid the energy and it was done.

Two weeks later, I was driving to go and get my boys from their dads place, when I turned onto a road that was covered in sand and small rocks (like from a construction site) There was dust everywhere and I lost control of the car and it started to drift
Twetch ·
(FYI I haven't had a car accident in like 10 years)
Twetch ·
So it all happened very fast, but since my car started drifting on the road, the steering wheel turned and locked. I managed to pull up the hand break and impacted into the guardrail on the side of the road.
Twetch ·
This is coming off a road where I was going around 70km/h, so the hand break definitely helped with the impact, but I dont even remember feeling the impact...the car was totally destroyed. I couldn't open my door and half the bonnet was crushed.
Twetch ·
I was in a really calm frame of mind, for some reason. Kind of like I had seen this coming before. It was all really easy, I thankfully didnt hit anyone. I turn around and some men are on the street helping me get the car off the road... and then....
Twetch ·
Right in front of me, was a motorbike and a guy on the floor. Literally right in front of my car. I hadn't seen him fall due to my own impact and loss of control of the car. But If my car hadn't locked up I literally would have killed the guy.
Twetch ·
There are no ifs or buts about it. If my car hadn't bizarrely swerved and locked, I would have killed this guy. I didnt try to avoid him, I didnt see a thing. Nobody hit me, even though I pulled up the hand break quickly. It was all really... just... calm.
Twetch ·
Whats the bonnet? The roof of the car?
Twetch ·
I believe you would call it the hood 😎
Twetch ·
Sell me on acupuncture
Twetch ·
Do you have any chronic pain?
Its originally why I searched for acupunture...
Now Im hooked. It has literally changed my life.
Twetch ·
Yes back and knees, have been a big proponent of float tanks for many years and frequently come across people there that tell me to try but just never have.
Twetch ·
GO FOR IT
Just try... but make sure you find a real one who spends the time to get to know you. Chinese medicine is all about emotional energies, stagnation, that can manifest in pain. If you find one that is *only* interested in pain relief dont bother.
Twetch ·
Recently learned about "dry needling", absolutely changed my shoulders.
Twetch ·
oh dis sound like work 🥴
Twetch ·
Not at all. Just keep an open mind. The only work is finding the right one :)
Twetch ·
Youll be amazed at how quickly your pain goes away.... but that wont be the reason you keep going back. Trust me ;)
Twetch ·
Oh and bonus points if the acupuncturist does Shiatsu massage too. Sometimes the muscles get stuck and thats the reason for some stiffness and pain... The combination is pretty amazing!
Twetch ·
Oh boy now we’ve really strayed outside my comfort zone
Twetch ·
do ittttttt. and im sure you know someone else who would surely benefit too ;)
Twetch ·
And All the time here's me thinking chinese Medicine was all about making the most disgusting tasting concoction’s known to man..😉 I spent 6 months taking Chinese Medicines.. My flat at the time stunk of them.. not a pleasantt way to heal oneself.. 🥴
Twetch ·
Only useful for muscle pain though. (On me) its has the effect of a 3hr massage in 30 minutes
Twetch ·
Depends on how you do it I guess. The herbs are one aspect. I dont follow Chinese herbs specifically but learning more all the time, I practice herbalism on myself and my kids. This also changed my life. Are you doing acupunture as well??
Twetch ·
I used to have acupuncture , the guy was very good and it helped me a lot... Unfortunately the acupuncturist contracted aggressive bowel cancer and passed away.. I find a balance is the key, I the older I get the less I worry about things, life's to short
Twetch ·
Definitely agree, balance is certainly the key! Acupunture can help you find that balance again if its lost temporarily.
Sorry to hear about your acupuncturist! :(
Twetch ·
It was a while ago, so no worries
Twetch ·
Wow are you tryin to get me to buy you a massage? Quit beatin around the bush here
Twetch ·
👀👀👀👀 remember this is the blockchain LMAO
Twetch ·
I make mistakes on record everywhere so be it
Twetch ·
I’m the king of “expletive omitted” when the meeting minutes come out on my public works projects
