Stopping the massacre of animals will solve a lot of problems

have i seen a bunch of posts from you on bitstagram
Maybe, they are not all me though
i'm not vegan but i do think that eating less meat would help people's health and ecosystems and being more respectful in our relationships to animals would help us spiritually etc .. if there's no room even for me in your rhetoric that's a very small tent
unless you're trying to harden the views of people who already agree with you i think you need to consider more the viewpoint of the people you're talking to .... that propaganda is harsh and doesn't feel to me like it's going to convince much of anyone :/
Possibly, but it also creates a lot of new problems.
I think anyone trying to consume less animal products is doing a good thing. I don’t really care about convincing people. I don’t gain anything from it. I think people are disconnected from the harm they are causing. I am just sharing my point of view
Like what?
Feeding everyone that was previously fed.
We could feed more people now if everyone just ate plants
Okay, why don’t the people who aren’t being fed just start eating plants now?
Because we are feeding the livestock instead
yeah that makes sense .. but it doesn't come across that way from the rhetoric, and especially the pictures you're posting, it gives an impression like you're really angry at everyone and pushing them away
Because that’s what the majority of us want to eat. You feed plants, because you want to eat them, yes?
Idk what pictures you are referring to. It seems like everyone has very strong opinions on their diet
Lectins are proteins produced by certain plants to deter their consumption. Certain plants don’t want you to eat them. Check out The Plant Paradox by Dr. Gundry.
Plants are not angelic and innocent. High lectin plants dominate the food chain.
I think avoiding animal products is a much more important thing to focus on
Yes but we could feed more people if we just ate plants
I’m not sure where you live, but I’m a US citizen, and I have never seen a person here that was starving or even excessively hungry. We don’t have food shortages.
Ya I haven’t seen it either but I’m pretty sure it’s a real thing in other places
Yes, there is starvation going on in other parts of the world. If those societies would copy the systems of the most successful societies, then starvation wouldn't be prevalent.
The remedy to starvation in the world is not "everybody eat plants".
afaik there is a problem feeding everyone with the available farmland and growing population
Where?
Population will correct naturally when difficulty increases. If that society cannot sustain itself then let it correct.
Ok but I think there is evidence to indicate the process of farming animals is not as sustainable as plants so there is no point to continue
I have never seen such evidence, and I'm not going to abandon eating meat on a hunch.
Thanks for the discussion, and take care.
um sure lots of plants would prefer not to be eaten, if they're not able to complain in this continuum their devas definitely get upset .... but that logically doesn't matter: ANIMALS EAT PLANTS so eating animals IS CONSUMING MORE PLANTS THAN EATING PLANTS
Most of the conventional availability meat, fowl and fish are feed these high lectin plants they are deadly. Cows prefer grass. The ecosystem would improve if private gardening became normal.
Roundup is used in the growing of most conventionally grown plants. Eating more plants is not the simple answer.
Eat more hemp seed, it literally grows like, well, a weed...
Hemp is good and low/no lectins.
There's a reason we have cannabinoid receptors in our bodies, either we were designed to use this plant, or we evolved with it in symbiosis.
My entire spiritual beliefs started with hemp seed and crying because the world is still not fed...
