I've been told there's no gold around here but I've found other minerals so I say there's hope. The big floods(Helene etc.) we've had in recent years really stirred the pot at the river and creeks up the gorge.

I’m on Vancouver Island. There are a handful of old working mines nearby that I’m curious to check out (don’t have any off-road gear tho). And that’s a whole other kind of prospecting too. Buuuut… if I found a couple of flecks in the river while hardly trying, I’m feeling good about prospects here. !nb
