I am starting to see the value of my Twetch feed decline because I cannot mute some people or choose those I want to prioritize.

Indeed. If I can't have a follow/block list soon I am going away till it is available not that anyone cares...just saying what i think

Twetch ·

I concur.

Twetch ·

@Tundra I feel the same way. At some point the value becomes too low for me to keep reading twetch. Might still post some stuff I want to

Twetch ·

Yes. I totally agree. Twitter right now has so much more value because you can filter what you want.

Twetch ·

@Tundra I feel the same way. At some point the value becomes too low for me to keep reading Twetch. Might still post some stuff I want to record on the blockchain but that would become rare.

I am sure many feel like us. Hope Twetch devs are working on it

Twetch ·

^ Craig A took it too far in my opinion. Twitter is filth. However, I concur with the general sentiment that we ought to be able to filter out posts where mb_user = xxx. #FreedomFromSpeech (of morons)

Twetch ·

Agreed

Twetch ·

For the first stage of learning, the focus must be looking for things that you don't understand.

Twetch ·

How to Learn

Twetch ·

And the most important aspect of that is understanding why you don't understand it.

Twetch ·

This trolling is for a purpose. To elevate Zhell's sentiment. I choose to publish my How to Learn section from the Hitchhiker's Guide to Programming Bitcoin on Yours.org . So here I go...

Twetch ·

Stage 1: Identify your obstacles.

Twetch ·

The intro needs work :) I think I'll skip to the meat...

Twetch ·

Learning technical things is very different than other things.

Twetch ·

This may seem like an unnecessary thing to cover. But I assure you that it is not.

Twetch ·

The answer is always that there is one or more unmet dependencies (prerequisites) that you don't understand.

Twetch ·

The best strategy for groups is to work together toward the goal of guiding everyone in the right direction of effective learning on their own. People often stumble over the same things.

Twetch ·

Yours.org is pretty great. You should go on over their and vote for my article. Or better yet "subscribe" to it.

Twetch ·

...choreographed education does not fly in the real world. Only Proof of Work works. Integrate your knowledge into your projects and by solving interesting problems that use what you know.

Twetch ·

It still needs refinement...i'll stick with excerpts.

Twetch ·

Stage 3: Identify others' obstacles.

Twetch ·

Stage 2: Use what you think you know.

Twetch ·

I wonder if this kind of trolling will take off?

Twetch ·

Twetch is again superior in another important way..even Trolls here want value for their money

Twetch ·

What I mean by subscribing is that you buy it even though you know it's incomplete with the expectation that it will improve.

Twetch ·

That's the way of the future because the key is Proof of Work. Even if someone copied it, they'd be continually copying it because I'm always editing it.

Twetch ·

One big reason fail at study is fatigue. Maybe you should take break and work on have more frequent shorter consistent study sessions instead of long ones powered by stimulants?

Twetch ·

No matter how confident you are that you know your stuff, you should always be looking to improve and take things to a higher level. The next stage of learning requires that you collaborate with your peers:

Twetch ·

The largest adjustment of thinking is valuing knowledge of problem areas. When you fail to disclose what your problem areas are, it's like not telling your group of explorers about an obstacle that they also might need to overcome.

Twetch ·

ell people about your journey, both good and bad.

Twetch ·

In active learning, the primary goal is effective systematic exploration.

Twetch ·

Work with a group to overcome obstacles and see things with a new perspective.

Twetch ·

You must test yourself. Do problems that utilize the knowledge you're supposed to be learning.

Twetch ·

If you take away anything from this trolling, it is that it is time for you to stop journeying alone.
Goto stage 1: run run run

Twetch ·

At some point they're going to have to put the Hitchhiker's Guide to Programming Bitcoin on Metanet.ICU because it will be that awesome. I'm pumped up!

Twetch ·

You need to be prepared mentally to communicate with others about both the things you know and the things that you need to learn better (your discovered obstacles).

Twetch ·

A great way to retain information is to think about it in as many ways as possible. Even ridiculous nonsensical ways are useful. And that takes us to an important point: It usually takes a mental adjustment to learn successfully.

Twetch ·

People often allow themselves to stress out during the learning process, resulting in a loss of mental dexterity. Don't! Learning is playing very much like how children play. Learning complex stuff just happens to be very useful play.

Twetch ·

@KC Ross, I really like it. Did the same when I wanted to boost my Alita thread to the top of feeds: just shared valuable information in small bites again and again, so the value of the thread increases.

We need a name for it..
"Boost Value Trolling"??

Twetch ·

Boost Trolling is simpler. Seems like people would try to add value. I only call it trolling because it was off topic.

Twetch ·

What about now with followers :)

Twetch ·

Good.
