[Someone asked me whether the BSV-price will drop to $100! What is more likely, in my opinion, is for the BSV-price to 'rocket' to at least $1,200 within days after the 04-Feb-2020 protocol-restoring BSV-Genesis-Hard-Fork. Do you agree?]

What about the Genesis upgrade should make the price go up?
[I expect the price to initially go lower as 'Genesis' approaches, then to 'rocket' upwards after the upgrade. $2,000 to $3,000 upper-ceiling is possible in the short-term (days/weeks) after 'Genesis', before correcting to circa $1,200.]
But specifically what in the Genesis upgrade would make the price go up? Why would there be more demand only after the upgrade? People know the upgrade is coming and what it entails, so they should already be in if they think it contains something valuable
This is a great question, thank you for asking. The Genesis-upgrade is expected to provide and to act as 'physical' evidence of BSV's ability to scale. Initial demand will likely come from institutions and investors. Masses are expected to follow utility.
