I could make some water using hydrogen and oxygen and this statement would be wrong until I poured it on the ground or drank it.

Water is ancient.

It existed in the early "years" of the Universe, as soon as the fist star that build up Oxygen went supernova and some of the atoms of most abundant element bonded with that Oxygen.

That was happening so many times and it still does.
