How much simpler life would be if there actually was a good guide. But alas humans will corrupt anything written to push their agenda.

Why should life be simple
If certain things are somewhat resolved then it frees mental resources. That's one advantage.
In my experience, trying to operate WITHIN the non-simple is what _creates_ mental resources. Do you have any ideas about what specifically should be resolved?
For example, I don't waste any more time trying to interpret the Bible because I don't think that a God would provide a rule book..too easy to corrupt. Mormons update their bible almost every year. God doesn't mind apparently.
