well that just solves the imaginary problem of there being so many videos that they're too expensive to store & serve
the problem of how to choose what's good content is such a hard problem that i think the only solution to that is actual human creativity & effort?? i mean until a few years from now when you can have a robot do it
um yes it doesn't solve much of anything does it, especially since any money anyone ever gets by selling a shitcoin comes from someone else's money, that makes it overall pretty pointless, yes, but also it's what EVERYONE'S DOING ALL AROUND US!!! they didn't even give up, with the bear market, they're still doing that right now :/

@mungojelly im actually curious if there is a mechanism that would help with spam via generating a token, besides just paying for it. i can prolly think of a few ways

what i've been thinking for a long time really is that CONTENT IS CHEAP & so that's the main reason why it doesn't work to upvalue content is that IT'S ALL WORTHLESS TRASH so you're just sorting trash??!
what's expensive isn't content, it's context--- it's worth money to have someone establish a context for you that makes sense, presenting some of the endless content that's so available & making connections
i think the main people on the internet who should be paid is moderators, not content creators,, content creation is fun & there's already plenty of content,, moderation is difficult & currently unrewarded & it's basically absent
moderation > curation > creation
