I seriously don’t understand health insurance anymore. For the 30mins I spent in the ER with my son and the 3 staples he got, we payed a $250 copay and now I’m being charged another $1200. Fuck you CA!

Sorry to hear! You most likely have a high deductible plan where your monthly premium payments are lower but then you have a co-pay and in addition you need to pay a certain amount of pocket before the insurance company begins paying.
