There seems to be nobody willing/able to defend the core doctrines of the contemporary ideology in an open debate. They are so far removed from reality that they can only survive in a carefully protected space.

what is the contemporary ideology from your perspective?
I think the best umbrella term to describe it is the Jungian archetype of the devouring mother: Central planning, safetyism, atheism, collectivism, materialism. The false assumption that if we only let a motherly central authority (late stage state apparatus, UN) control all resources we will achieve an utopia where all the "children" are clothed, fed and sheltered. But since this idea is extremely naive and removed from reality it fails miserably and turns the well-meaning great mother into the increasingly totalitarian and insane devouring mother. Some of the agendas that come with this ideology are man-made climate change, censorship, mass-migration, transgenderism etc. None of them can be openly debated with those who disagree and must be sheltered from criticism.
havent read jung but did read maps of meaning by peterson and he references this idea quiet a bit and that humanity is a balancing act at the edge of order and chaos
Chaos and order is an important dichotomy, no doubt. But today we are constantly being sold control as order. But control is the opposite of order. Chaos and control are two sides of the same coin. Order is the protection of individual rights. Control is the violation of individual rights.
