Scientists across the world have diminished themselves in favour of a political narrative which is exactly the root of why antiscientific sentiment is running rampant.

Knowledge generation & curation is a matter of trust & can't be communicated without it

Does this leave space for any Charleston with a megaphone shouting "chemttails gave the gay frogs aids?" Obviously not.

What it does mean is we need to rebuild the foundations of scientific communication and admit just how little we know about the world.

We don't know nothing; but we do know less than we let on. Political power & corporate greed has taken over a lot of these pillars of science such as the peer review process and open access to knowledge (Definitely don't use sci-hub.tf to get free papers)
