i think they are probably attacking the problem from the wrong direction though. i'm obviously biased, but to really make something like this useful they'd need to start from a good messaging/collaboration platform and then extend that with ai functionality

my guess is people will use something like his for a while, but not end up sticking around because they're going to need to do a lot of copying and pasting to get their data out of the ai/research tool into the tool where they actually collaborate with people

Yes, they’re really good points you make. You want to be doing the research where the collaborators naturally already are!
