We are saved by faith, @kurt. So you should be saved. But if we don't have works to show, then our faith may not be of sufficient degree. We are told to disciple people and be persecuted for doing so. The Holy Spirit in you, should burn for saving others.

I'm not undersatnding.

How can someone be "saved" by "faith", but then must have "works" just in case our "faith" is not sufficient?

We don't need works at all. But our faith should precipitate works because through faith Jesus lives inside of us and does the works for us.

You will know us by our fruit.

Buddists, Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, JW and Mormans are works based. And futile.
