Realize that to grow 1Kg of meat animal needs to consume 20Kgs of crops. The article also mentions hundreds of other animals getting killed to protect the crop fields, but at least those animals tasted a bit of freedom. Most livestock never see sun.

That's why I eat pasture grass-fed. I don't agree with intensively farmed animals at all.

To me its about minimizing suffering mostly. Cows should live 20 years, but they are exhausted to death by year 5 (constant rape, babies taken, milk taken). Not a nice life (not what cartons display) They are smart animals, even pigs are smarter than dogs.

I think we shouldn’t kill any animals intentionally and we can work on more ethical farming practices. Grass fed is also bullshit marketing because most are switched to feed to bulk them up before slaughter.
