It's very hard to find an political ideology that isn't just a more or less elaborate disguise of the attempt to redifine evil as good - when we do it. Not when others do it, obviously.

One might even say that ideology is the opposite of ethics. And attempt to avoid universal ethics in favor of situational pseudo-ethics and tribal pseudo-ethics.

Ideology is a set of narratives that condemn other people's evil while justifying our own.

Ideology is the collective ego.

depends on the definition of democracy, Solon created democracy to end debt slavery. that is a freedom. its fragile and is the civilian duty to work as hard as the elected to keep it alive. Land ownership is a great idea to keep the foreign voter from fraud but then it becomes a rich mans game.
