What's the biggest barrier standing between Twetch and mainstream adoption in your opinions?

Most article today especially in crypto quote twitter users. Crypto itself not being adopted. There are no good on ramps today. Have you tried buying crypto? The average user is not gonna deal with uploading crap to a website and I can't buy from a store.
It’s still invite only beta and doesn’t yet have weiblock prices, which will probably come when out of beta.

Explaining moneybutton/funding the account
In general Twitter doesn't even have much traffic among normies
1. Network effect. People go where everyone is.
2. No demand for small $ for posts. Not high enough $ to matter to people. Cute, rather than essential. Dopamine from like just as good.
3. Too hard to setup and fund MoneyButton vs. just entering email.
Agree on #1 and #3. What do you mean by #2? That people don't want to pay small $ to be able to post?
I mean that prospect of earning a few cents is no motivation to do stuff. Getting a "like" is at least as fulfilling as getting a few cents, maybe more because it feels less "commerical" to normies.
Micropayments are only motivating in large aggregates.
Most casual users don't get excited about prospect of earning a few bucks a week or month from a few cents here and there.
$ adds friction, but at such low dollar amounts, very little additional value to user.
