RSS was great. It became wildly popular, and then was effectively snuffed out by companies killing the most popular readers.
I'm keen to use MAP protocol to reproduce RSS on-chain. XML tags simply become MAP keys.
We can take it much further with BSV.

The domain model can be replaced by signatures. This lets you subscribe to an author like before, but also just some keywords, or even 'web of trust' style where you see content based on a score from on-chain 'friends'.
Bitcoin native Push notifications?
On Bitcoin, you read from the chain instead of from a specific domain's server. The "reader" could certainly deliver push notifications as it arrives. Not much different from what Twetch has started. The innovation is agreed upon MAP keys matching RSS spec
