The rollout of birth certificates is quite interesting by the way.
According to our current history, which may be questionable, birth registers have started being used by the church around 1500. It took till the mid 1800s till broader adoption happened though.
And today I am not sure whats better: having no birth certificate or having one.
There is also the discussion about our names being written in large letters, vs written in normal letters and the legal implications.
I want a system where we give and verify each others identitites and it is based on reputation.

Good on you for making a comment.
Well imagine this scenario, you turn up at the counter at some office to do the simplest task, like get a job .
But youve lost your medicare card . Then you show your drivers license and bank card.
Then they say " oh we'll need a bank statement with your banking history for the last 3 months" " oh and youl need a current bill like electricity , with your current addtess on it" oh and that isnt enough id you need such and such one or two more forms ,have you got a passport , ?" You answer " no maam"
And then planning to maybe go to , well yes i am planning to go to USA.
With criminal record, even if its twenty years ago.
Grok says you better declare it you need to go to usa embassy, and that was a while ago i was planning to go to usa, pretty much given up now.
But yeah a birth certificate i think ill get one one day.
Yeah i hear you on the reputational id point , thats the hardcore BSV way of doing things but in no way a substitute for a birth certificate. Different thing.
Looks like weve been reading, listening to the same material.
Hey thankyou kindly for your regular contribution to this stream .
I think its better to have

Re reading your reply , ok yes you may find a rollout of birth certificates interesting. But "rollout" is an ambiguos term.
My point about brirth certificates is . Aquiring a real one, digitizing it, or /and through the normal legal channels, putting it on treechat , in a private thread called , "my I.D"
Then working with developers, as i am not a programer, developer, and government offices to see if treechat id can be acceptable for serious things like getting a passport.
And discussing and thinking about treechat as a serious financial management tool and more much more, its like what is doable now, what laws are sort of problematic for some desired tasks , and working our way through everything realistically imaginable and exyreamly unanoumously useful. ,necesarry what devs , public think, etc, working around laws, gwtting laws changed that sort of stuff
