Because that seems at least as likely as a real human ascension, whatever that means.
If you want to bring in new world order, you'd want to dress it up as a great awakening, a new age, a new beginning.
A new system that is hated by everyone won't last, but one that presents itself as the savior from a terrible system and a new enlightened beginning might.

I think its just smart to have room for a skeptical view. The world has to date been largely run by psychopaths and sociopaths. I'm not sure how that has suddenly changed, but I am open to it. To your question, what should a leveled up world look like? For me, it's happy whole healthy people, psychologically and emotionally healthy, physically healthy, and emotionally healthy. When humans are leveled up to that degree there are no wars, there is no hunger, there is no child abuse of any kind (including parents hitting or intimidating their children). We are a long way from that. But I'd be happy if it felt real and there was a start towards that.
