Rheinwiesenlager (Rhine meadow camps) which were temporary internment camps established by the US Army in Germany at the end of WWII. These camps were built to hold surrendered German soldiers almost all young age soldiers, and they held two million personnel 1945. Some accounts about the Rheinwiesenlager state that conditions were harsh (Open To all weather Elements out in open Field) and that a significant number of prisoners (all) died. The estimate of Two millions deliberately starved on orders of General Eisenhower is true, after information found in letters, The President commenting on how much he hates The Germans. Leave all soldiers in open field in the summer sun with no water/food no protection from the elements after the soldiers surrendered.
