Very powerful words FH! We are told spiritual people must be "nice, kind, giving, good" people. But that is an assumed identity, that can enable other people to be victims! Especially towards family members. A subtle trap right 😊
We have to see the strength in others until they can see it for themselves. Believe in them. Giving them the answers isn’t a long term solution. In Letting them figure it out, they Learn to follow their own knowing and rely on their own strength.
Asking the right questions is the key to helping. Digging. Getting curious. What are their values ? Are they honoring them? Accountability is a game changer. Like this, we support without enabling. Being present for a friend is a rare gift.
