Religion and politics should be opposites. Religion means unity, politics are about division. The root of the wrd party is "divided"
But politics and ideology can dress up as Religion.
There's an easy test to see if something is politics/ideology or religion:
Politics/ideology is all about double standards (it's alright if we do it) that's why I call it the collective ego.
Religion that isn't just politics dressed up is centered around a single standard (the golden rule), universal ethics, instead of moral relativism.

there is no unity in religion, its all about division. they are many religions all giving rules to what you can believe and what is the standard, same as politics the right and left defining what makes society.

From my point of view, what you call religion is politics dressed up as religion.
The entire idea of religion is seeking unity with God. A double standard isn't helpful on that journey.
I repeat myself: if there's an ethical double standard, it's not religion, no matter what it calls itself.

ok what is religion, christian islam scienctology mormons muslim.... god is within you. i know you and me dont see it the same but, the same source code went into us both. The soul has an oversoul or you have an higher self all the way to the Consciousness Prime. Religion puts itself as the telephone to god with rules to the game.

I don't know how to make it any clearer without repeating myself.
If I had to guess, I'd say you just get triggered by the word religion, because of all the cases of politics dressing up as religion, corrupted organized religion etc.
Substitute the word religion for whatever works for you and maybe we are on the same page.
All the organized religions you mentioned most likely contain a small minority that uses a single standard and a large majority that uses a double standard.

I'm not triggered, u used the word religion. Again what is religion?

The search for God. Not the search for power.

Religion is an hiaracry and is not really about God.

All I'm saying is that your problem with the term religion isn't its essence, but it's corruption. I'd call that corruption politics, ideology, power.
As I said, try substituting the term if this doesn't work for you. Call it spirituality or whatever.
And no, I didn't bring religion into this. Check the posts.
