Redistribution is the fuel of tyranny.

It creates the division necessary for oppression, the opportunity for the establishment to massively profit from it, and, over time, it creates a dependent class, which will fight to death anyone trying to stop the redistribution they have grown accustomed to.

If anyone tries to end tyranny by closing the fuel-line and stop the redistribution, the dependent class will instantly turn into "revolutionaries" burning down cities and taking the streets.
