pomegranate paste is so easy to make.
You just need : 8kg pomergranate/3cup of water/ alittle bit salt which this amounts will provide 1 kg paste for you ^~^

Do you mean sour as in putting lemon juice in it? Or do you mean savory? I'm definitely partial to savory/sour flavor as opposed to sweet. After all, I'm sweet enough as it is 😁

no no not putting lemon juice, you pomegranate sauce is kind of sour and sweet at the same time but if you want to make the sour taste weaker you can add some suger to it ^_^
