So did Smartwatch get paid the 149,000 sats automatically when the raffle finished? Or is that not how it works? It could definitely get interesting if people raffled high value items, so whoever upvoted the most would have a better chance of winning. A silent auction type situation would be interesting as well, where funds could be locked and the seller could choose the winning bid and automatically get paid without everyone knowing each other's bids. The biggest obstacle I see is how to get the right posts in front of the right users. I have no idea if anyone is seeing my posts unless they respond. It'd be nice to have a curated list of the most interesting public threads, where people could also pay to get visibility. Basically, like a Times Square for Treechat where you could sell ad space, but quality content was also featured, and people could easily find new accounts to follow.
