Both put ideology before practicality. As an ethic, libertarianism is a great tool. It's dumb to systematize it though.
Communism, on the other hand is an ethic that denies human nature, and is extremely dangerous when systematized.

I think both deny human nature and both are dangerous systematizations. Communism removes freedom right away and libertarian systems would remove freedom as a consequence of naivety.

Depends on your definition of human nature. The debate isn't as closed as you seem to think. Libertarianism applies the necessity of self-interest onto all, whether they agree with this view or not. Sink or swim. Communisim does the same but oppositely.

I think denying human nature is being blind to how humans really are and how they really act. In libertarianism this blindness would leave everyone's freedom at the reach of the highest bidders, those who are capable of anything for power.
