My quilt is coming along. Four rows are connected and I did the fifth and made a mistake. Time to rest, I make many more mistakes when I’m tired. So now I’m thinking of this block printed border with turtles. Anybody dislike it? Turtles are one of my favorite animals in the world.

The batting is under the top has about 4.2 inches left to cover and the back piece will be white also.
Absolutely gorgeous! My sister is a quilter and I’m always so amazed at the beauty of quilts and the love and patience that goes into it. Look forward to seeing the completed beauty!
Quilt update: I decided the white border with the turtles did not add to the quilt top, although I love them. I found the blue and white material and made the border out it it. I like it a lot. Will have to use my turtle block print somewhere else.
Still lots of work to do!! Get to work!! I say to myself as I get one more ☕️!!
I too love a quilt. I have a group of online friends called ‘the Pinnies’ (we met on a site called Fertility Friend and used to all get Acupuncture to help with our fertility) and we used to make each other baby quilts when we finally gave birth, in celebration. It was such a lovely tradition. Here is my eldest son on his baby quilt. Still a most treasured possession. I think quilts are the nicest gift of all time.
This grandson is a blanket baby. He always has his blanket with him. I thought a new one for college would be nice in case he didn’t want to take his Winnie the Pooh one with him. Your baby and quilt are beautiful. I hope they grow old together.
Crazily, he's 19 now - I have very happy and treasured memories of him and his lovely blanket. His younger brother is 16 already. Childhood is too, too short! Sigh
These are beautiful, I love the tribal turtle.
Great job!
