Question for the tech minded. Could shutting off a lot of your miners be used as a way to postpone a halving by a few days?

yeah i think if you controlled enough hash blocks would be found less frequently. wouldn't create any extra block rewards though if that's what you're thinking
I just noticed the BCH hashrate has fallen a lot and I was suspecting that they would want to halve after bsv rather than before. anyway their hashrate could have fallen for a variety of reasons.
