A question for US residents:
Who do you bank with? Do you have good challenger banks in your area?
For reference, I really like Starling Bank here in London. No bricks and mortar, just a great app that lets me use fiat for when bills must be paid.

First try to find a way into USAA. Not only great customer service & mobile app, but when all the banks run to papa for handouts in the next finan'l crisis (soon), USAA has such a huge proportion of military they are safe place to keep money. IBKR 4 stocks
