quest 3 is coming out "in the fall", so soon, and only $500! apparently gonna be a bit before the photorealistic versions like they're using in the pod are publicly available which sucks but this makes me want to try the cartoon version even more. and i have a feeling once the hardware is widely available there'll be a lot of 3rd party implementations of similar ideas
