public posts are stored onchain, you can see them by clicking the little block icon, but we also keep a copy in our db to serve the content for better performance, so in the scenario where something gets pruned we will have a backup, but i dont think that will happen since as i mentioned gorilla pool has said they do not intend to prune ... i also think there can be mechanisms to tell miner's not to prune for an extra small fee. i think this will get figured out before miners announce they intend to prune cc @kurtwuckertjr

I see, Treechat also stores data off-chain for backup purposes, which is great. I also learned that there are ways to protect on-chain content from pruning, such as with gorillapool.Thanks.
