Let's be absolutely precise since we're talking about law.
BSV is private.
Monero is anonymous.
Anonymous coins will/are illegal.
It’s not private, if I have your address I can see how many coins are in your account at any given point in time. That’s less private than banks. You can’t see my bank account at any given time.
I have thousands of addresses. Literally. NEVER REUSE and address and it will be private.
What's my BSV balance in my Handcash wallet?
You don't know because it comprises of hundreds of addresses, none of which are reused.
Are illegal? Where exactly?
I can see them becoming illegal in the future, but morality will always trump legality for me and many others.
My finances are mine, and unless I share, nobody has business in them.
In some dystopian fucked up fascist state, yeah probably.

The governments main concern is making sure they can tax you. They should make the legislation easy and only tax you on gains when you withdraw fiat. This is the biggest barrier
Money laundering is only illegal because the taxman doesn't get his share lol.
I teach people to stay within the law not to become subjugated by it. Did we learn nothing from Rosa Parks?
Rosa Parks was breaking the law though?
My point exactly teaching that morals are more important than the law subjugates you to jail while just fixing the law frees everyone.
Would the laws have gotten fixed without Parks and hundreds of others going to jail?
Rosa parks didn't fix the law it was another lawsuit on rights that freed her. Breaking the law doesn't fix it. Teaching to break the law is immoral because others will be subject to the laws that are claimed immoral. There are egregious exemptions.
You should have no compulsion to follow an unjust law. Disobeying an unjust law is only wrong in the eyes of the state.
Subjecting yourself to needless punishment is idiotic. Promote fixing the law and if you must break the law you do it with caution and awareness that the punishment is worth it.
