I prioritize good sleep over almost every other “health metric”. This isn’t to say that night owls (who can’t sleep in) or people who function on very little sleep don’t have good health. I wouldn’t know. It just means that it’s the thing that I prioritize, and I share it here because it might strike a cord with someone also inclined to move towards their own version of health. !nb

its kind of the foundation of everything else. no sleep means a rough day ahead, and im sure this impacts your long term health as well

Yeah that’s a good way to put it. For me, it means I evaluate [x].. “Will doing this affect my good sleep?” Then I generally don't do it. (Always exceptions allowed! 😉). I think some of us have more sensitive nervous and body systems than others too, so that is a factor.
