I disagree completely. Our lives are objectively better because of industry. They have curated time for us to do bigger and better things. We work less, have more, etc... what people choose to do is on them.

I think our lives are objectively better because of The Magna Carta and The Enlightenment. To say we are better off because of the industrial revolution and 19th century land clearances, is dubious. People work longer hours to create worthless products

More inhabitants is more people applying for the same job (500-1000) this give employees more stress because they are easy to replace, they start to work harder and more hours, is no cooking time. Solution it to work less and by replacement moving away.
